Pop Catering was born in 2017. Nick & Juliette’s passion for food and quality service pushed them to begin pop up restaurant events in Brighton and the local area.
There are lots of places to eat out in Brighton and Nick & Juliette have pretty much done the lot. They found that there is a recurring inconsistency within the restaurant & catering industry as a whole, you either get great tasting food served by a grumpy waiter/waitress, or a plate of food you wouldn’t feed your dog but served by a happy friendly member of staff which makes all the difference.
With this in mind they decided to start offering their food in local restaurants and cafes providing both; the front of house and kitchen staff. One year later they expanded the business and now feed over 1500 hungry guests per year, served with professionalism and smiles all around ensuring your guests are satisfied 100% of the time.
With customer satisfaction being their main focus, understanding the importance of a professional, friendly service and being able to provide delicious food presented beautifully with consistency from one event to the next. We bring our catering services to you to allow you to spend the all important time with your guests, to relieve you of all the stresses of organising your event.
We are able to help with many aspects of organising your event, we are here to take the weight off your shoulders. We understand how stressful it can be to get everything in place for any event, we have a team of experienced caterers, professional licensed bar staff, florists at unbeatable prices, crockery and glassware hire. If there is anything at all within our capabilities we are more than happy to help and if we can’t personally help we can point you in the right direction.
If you are interested in having a buffet but are working on a small budget just contact us. Even if you want a few trays of sandwiches to collect we are happy to cater for any event big or small.
We are able to bring our portable kitchen appliances or use a fitted kitchen if your venue has one. We will set up anywhere; in a field, a barn, on the street, or of course inside a building.

We are Pop Catering, our kitchen is based in Peacehaven 10 minutes from Brighton.
Owned by food enthusiasts Juliette & Nick.
Nick was thrown into catering from a young age, his parents and close family have always run pubs, restaurants, hotels and now cafes. He manages the family business The Gateway Cafe in Peacehaven East Sussex which is a huge success. Winning best Eatery 2019 at the Chamber Of Commerce business awards.
Juliette: Her father is Head Chef in a top hotel restaurant in Switzerland, growing up she was always keen to learn the ropes and now she’s able to put all of that to good use and put incredible food on your table.

Customer satisfaction is our main focus. We pop up at your event with the freshest ingredients, prep most items on site to ensure your food is served fresh at a time set to your schedule.
We also pop up restaurants at local venues we revamp them in a way to create our own ambience. Featuring cultural cuisines from around the World using local produce.
Our aim is to cook you a meal to remember, serve it to you with the utmost professionalism, to leave you wanting more but to be totally satisfied by the end of the event.
WHY?
As cheesy as it sounds food is our life. We eat a LOT, some may say too much, but we love it.
We work really hard so we love to treat ourselves to a good meal out regularly. Although we have noticed it is difficult to be satisfied every time and this doesn’t always come from what we are served on a plate but more often than not WHO it us served by. Service to us, is as important as the food… I’m sure we are not alone here.
Have you ever felt unwelcome as soon as you step through the door? Been served by a grumpy waiter or waitress? These are the things we want to make sure our customers are not experiencing.
We are not saying we are perfect, but we’ll damn well try our very best to serve you a the best food within our capabilities and always served with a smile.

We can cater for all types of events; birthdays, weddings, wakes, food markets, buffets, banquets, festivals, outdoor & garden party events, wherever our services may be required.

WHEN?
Whenever you need us, we are on call for your event, even at the last minute, if your caterer has let you down and you require some food or drink ASAP we will try our very best to cover whatever you require.
